Divorce and Separation.

We will provide a fixed quote for the costs of a divorce. Since this can be a very emotional time we take the trouble to explain each step of the way to you so that you have a clear picture of the legal and practical implications. We also advise on same sex partnerships and the changes to the law which came into force in 2005.

Co-Habitation.

This is a very complicated area of law made easy by our solicitors. There is no such thing as a common law marriage and most of the law is governed by cases which have been decided in the higher courts of this jurisdiction.

Children Issues

We advise on both Private law cases such as contact, residence, parental responsibility and change of name of a child and also on Public law cases such as acting for adults in care proceedings. These can be very emotional times and our experienced staff are there to help.

Financial Issues

The financial issues relating to divorce, co-habitation and children can be expensive but are dealt with using the conciliatory approach adopted by Resolution.

Public Funding/Legal Aid.

We have a contract in family work, which means that we have been accredited to supply a high level of service to our clients. We offer means tested funding for all areas of family law and non-means testing for Public law children work.
