Mayor of Carmarthen

We are very proud to announce that Anthony Jenkins has been elected Mayor of Carmarthen for the forthcoming year and will be installed at a ceremony in the Guildhall in Carmarthen on the 6th June. Everyone at Ungoed-Thomas and King wishes Anthony and his wife Sian who will be Lady Mayoress, a memorable and enjoyable year in Office.

Home Information Packs (HIPs)

The Government has now announced that any property placed on the market on or after the 14th December 2007 will need a Home Information Pack commissioned on that property before the property can be offered for sale.

Unlike many other local solicitors who will be relying on large out of town HIP providers, we have been working closely with local firms to create our own HIP, thus ensuring a fully compliant, tailor made and competitively priced HIP which will be branded with the UTK logo thus reassuring any potential purchaser your HIP has been prepared by a local, well renowned firm of solicitors.

Our HIP will be prepared online, therefore allowing you to sell your property as quickly as possible and enabling your estate agent and any potential purchaser to view your HIP online. Printed copies or CD Roms of your HIP can also be arranged.

HIPs contain a large amount of complex legal information and as your solicitors we are best placed to prepare and interpret this for you.
